Premier League Favourites, Top 4 and Top Goalscorer Odds

With EPL action now really starting to heat up, fans, bookmakers, and punters alike are starting to get somewhat of a clearer picture of how the remaining 7 or so months of the season are going to go.

Can Arsenal make it two on the bounce and retain their title, who will finish in the top 4, and will Erling Haaland be crowned top goalscorer for the season? (assuming he’s still around of course)

Well, let’s find out as we look at who the bookmakers are tipping as Premier League favs, for a top 4 finish, and for top goalscorer.

Premier League Favourites

Kicking things off (see what we did there?) we’ll begin with a look at some of the odds for who the bookmakers are tipping to be crowned EPL champions come the end of the season.

Last season it basically came down to a two-horse race as Arsenal and Man City battled it out. Many expected City to add another title to their cabinet (which may be short a couple of EPL titles in the near future) but ultimately, it was Arsenal who prevailed.

But can Arteta and company make it two for two? The bookies certainly think so as Ladbrokes and BOYLE Sports are currently favouring Arsenal at 1/2. City are also in the running, as BOYLE Sports have them at 7/3, while Ladbrokes are offering 3/1 odds.

Top 4 Favourites

Whilst there’s still a lot of uncertainty over whether Manchester City will even be in the Prem at the end of the season, for now it’s business as usual and they are certainly still in the running for a top 4 finish, if not the title, though things may change.

But who do the bookmakers believe are in the running for a top 4 finish and a place in the Champions League?

Arsenal

Again, as The Gunners are tipped as favs for the Prem, you won’t be shocked to learn that they’re in the running here. Ladbrokes will give you odds of 1/100 whilst BOYLE Sports have them at 1/50. Talk about a safe bet.

Manchester City

With Enzo Maresca now settling in nicely, and Haaland still retaining his striking powers despite losing his luscious golden locks, Man City are also up there. Ladbrokes are offering odds of 1/3, whereas BOYLE Sports will provide 2/5 odds.

Chelsea

Chelsea have started the season strongly, and with Cole Palmer now back in form, this is the best Chelsea side we’ve seen in quite some time, perhaps since the Mourinho days?

Ladbrokes have Chelsea at 4/7, whilst you’ll get 8/15 odds if you back them with BOYLE Sports.

Liverpool

Finally, we have Liverpool. Many expected Man Utd to be in the running thus far, but in true United fashion, they’ve reverted to type and have failed to get off the mark. Liverpool are faring slightly better.

You’ll get 8/11 odds with BOYLE Sports, and 8/13 odds with Ladbrokes.

Top Goalscorer Odds

Finally, we’ll wrap things up with a look at who could be crowned top goalscorer when the season draws to a close.

Shock horror, the current favourite is that little-known Norwegian striker from Manchester City who is the current favourite here, with odds of 2/5 with both William Hill and BOYLE Sports. Having set multiple goalscoring records in the past, and with 6 goals from 6 appearances already, it’s easy to see why.

De Jesus Joao Pedro is another name in the running at this stage, as William Hill have him at 11/2, whilst BOYLE Sports will give you odds of 6/1. The Chelsea forward currently sits on 5 goals from 5 appearances, along with an own goal that he’d rather forget, but we’re not counting that for obvious reasons.

Liverpool’s Alexander Isak is also on the hunt for this particular title. The Swede may currently be injured, but if he continues his previous form when he’s back to full fitness, he’ll definitely be one to watch. He currently has 4 goals from 5 games, which is why he’s 7/1 with BOYLE Sports, and 8/1 with William Hill.
