Super Bowl Betting – The Early Favourites

The Buffalo Bills are among the early favourites for the Super-Bowl – and it is easy to see why after their thrilling open night win over the Ravens on Sunday night.
The Bills are currently 11/2 with Bet 365 and 6/1 with Ladbrokes as well as 11/2 with BetVictor.
They backed up those odds in their opening game of the season against the Ravens as Josh Allen and his team rallied from two scores down in the fourth quarter to take a 41-40 win.
The Ravens, who lost out in that all-time classic in week one, are still highly thought of by the bookmakers, despite the defeat, as they sit at 13/2 with Bet365 and Ladbrokes and BetVictor to take their first Super Bowl title for more than a decade.
You can see why the two teams are so highly regarded as they showed in that week one match-up that they can score points and will and both have the kind of hall-of-fame quarterback that can cause issues.
Joining the two AFC teams for the bookmakers are the current champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, who also got off to a winning start this season.
The Eagles beat divisional rival the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night last week and are currently priced at 7/1 on Bet365 and BetVictor and 13/2 on Ladbrokes to make it back-to-back championships.
Green Bay Packers
After a blockbuster trade before the season starts the Green Bay Packers are also fancied to do well this season.
Swapping two first round picks to pick up Micah Parsons sent shockwaves around the NFL, but the Packers showed what a force they can be with him as they beat the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
Parsons didn’t really play that big a part in the win, but he did pressure Jarred Goff whenever he was out there, and his presence, along with a strong Packers roster, has them at 17/2 on Bet365 and BetVictor and 9/1 on Ladbrokes to win the SuperBowl.
Kansas City Chiefs
One team that is up there on name more than talent if week one was anything to go by is the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs have known nothing but success since Patrick Mahomes was drafted in 2017 as they have made a deep play-off run every year he has started – as well as winning three times in that period as well.
But Mahomes and co looked very off the pace against the LA Chargers in their first outing last week, but despite that the bookies still have them highly rated to have their usual play-off run this year.
Bet365 have the Chiefs at 11/1 to win the Super Bowl and Ladbrokes have them at 9/1, while BetVictor have them at 12/1.
Bet365 have the 49ers, and all their injuries already, at 18/1 to end their Super-Bowl drought, while Ladbrokes have the Commanders at 20/1.
The Rams are still fancied to do well also as they are at 20/1 with BetVictor.
At the other end of the scale the Saints obviously failed to impress any of the bookmakers in their opening day defeat to the Cardinals as they are currently 500/1 to win the Super-Bowl this year.
